Add animation to the 2nd dimension scatter graph time tracking / snail trails

I'm using the snail trail second dimension option of the scatter chart already, it's great. I would be good if we could add an option to animate the date dimension in a similar way to the famous Hans Rosling world health chart.  (https://www.gapminder.org/fw/world-health-chart) 

There are a bunch of different options in the example above you could also work in if you wanted to / was easy enough. A useful one would be an aggregation option so the final data points are their totals not max day for example.
