VizlibTextObject Not Found

We recently updated our server with the latest release of the Vizlib library.  One of our applications is now throwing an error in the Ui for vizlibtextobject not found.  When i looked at the backup, i saw that this was a version 1.0 extension.  Is the advanced text object the newer version of this one?  If so, is our only option to rebuild the existing object with the newer extension?
