Advanced Text Object with variables and html
Hi all,
I am just starting to use the advanced text object. I figured out how to add html to the object. Separately, I've figured out how to add variables to the object that change depending on what the user selects (ex: [field] or $(variable)). However I haven't been able to figure out how to add both to it. When I add both, it seems to convert the [field] to whatever the actual value is, and it no longer is able to update when selections are changed. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Melissa
After discussing this with the Product team, I understand that this is a known limitation.
The Document person will be informed of this to make a note on the KPI Designer documentation.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
The work-around to this would be using placeholders., by placeholders we mean making your form with just a static value, and after I have it how I want it, I would be able to go in and put my variables and fields and it should work as long as I don’t edit it again? If so, that would work for me!
