Vizlib Table Minichart - expression

Hello

Minichart in the vizlib table are perfectly working when using simple field names as dimension.

Nevertheless, if one use an expression as dimension such as "=$(=Pick(Match($(vLanguage),'1','2','3','4'),'[FAMILLE_NAME_PDC_FR]','[FAMILLE_NAME_PDC]','[FAMILLE_NAME_PDC_ES]','[FAMILLE_NAME_PDC_DE]'))"

then the chart won't display.

Others might be interested in an improvement of the extension...

thanks

  • Hi patrice,
Are you looking for an option to have different dimensions for different rows in the table ?

  • Hi patrice,
In your case, you can use a variable for the dimension.
If you use the expression in a variable and then use the variable as the dimension in the mini chart it should work for you.

  • As just exchanged with Christophe Costantini, this great work around is not compatible with Viztips.

So, please consider this as a feature request (possibility to use expressions in Vizlib tables and compatible with Viztips)

a QVF sample is available in the 27668 ticket

    thanks

  • Hi there

Owing to a lack of customer validation and/or complexity, we’ve prioritised our delivery and decided not to develop this feature request. However, all feature requests are subject to a continuous review and if anything changes, we will reassess our decision.
