Setting Up Default Download Type

Is it possible to set up a default download type when downloading Vizlib extensions? It would be very convenient to automate the download of a suitable version depending on the type of license for each customer. If it is a customers first time getting a file, they may not know which type to get and having this feature can avoid confusion for a user especially if the user is out of office and someone else needs to get the files.
