In Pivot Table, Formatted Export to Excel should reflect the result on screen and not include excessively wide columns. As per Support, the current behavior is intentional and a feature request should be opened for this.

Thanks for letting me know, Luke. I'm hoping you guys can get this one sorted out, as this is something that used to work correctly but no longer does.

Terribly sorry for the delay in response. I have been out of work due to surgery and I am now just getting back to catching up with the replies.

No progress as of yet. Internally we are looking at ways of improving the Table. right now there is nothing to report on with this task.
