Gantt column header

My client wants to have multiple dimensions shown as a table. There is only one dimension field available for this, but I was able to create separate columns within this field, using html.

I would very much like to create headers for these columns as well, using the dimension label.

However, the dimension label does not show as a header. Would it be possible to add that?

Hi Marten,

So in basic terms, you would like to have the option for a Table in Vizlib Gantt?

If that is the case, there is an existing ticket in the backlog that I can link this Feature request to.

As with all feature requests, we evaluate them to see if they fit our current company/product direction as well as watching how the community reacts to this FR.

Ah okay, I understand the request now, thank you.

My question will be, why would this be a better solution than using the titles or sub-title for the Gantt?

In your envision, how would the title be defined? Is this dimension or text driven (or both)?

Apologies for the 20-Questions but it's important to know so if/when we implement this feature it's the correct solution.

Glad that I can help with your question.

I would like to see the reaction from the community regarding your feature as though it could be an interesting one, it may be a niche ask and, in regards to development, we could focus on bringing killer features that all (inc. ProRail) would benefit from.

It will be something I keep my eye on so please do feel free to share this with the community.

So in the 'Grey' dimension rows, you'd like the option to include a heading along with the dimension name? Maybe you can try playing with the 'Label'?

Hi mlouisse,

You are correct about the table, this is an internal ticket that I raised. If you care to make a request for that one instead then open up (sorry for this) another Feature Request and I will go ahead and link the FR request ticket to the internal development task.

Currently, there are no plans for it as of yet. However, that is not to say that cannot change.
