Improve scroll bar behavior in Vizlib Pivot and Vizlib Table

Please consider modifying the existing scrollbar in Vizlib Pivot and Vizlib Table to match the behavior of the native Qlik versions to prevent it from obscuring the measure data. In particular:

1) Only show the scroll bar when hovering, and/or

2) Save a small amount of space for the scrollbar so that it isn't superimposed over the right-most measure.

Attached are images of a sample Pivot demonstrating the difference in behavior both when not hovering over the table, and when hovering over the table. Note that in both cases the Vizlib version has the scroll box partially obscuring the text of the right-most measure and making it hard to read, while the Qlik version does not do this in either situation.

  • Hi Or,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

I agree that this can have an effect on the user experience, especially in the image you have shown here where you have the far right column with right-aligned text/numbers.
Thank you as well for showing the comparison between Vizlib and Qlik. We will take inspiration from this and design a solution.
