Dynamic x-axis ticks in line chart

Hi all, 

I would like to know if it is possibile to define a fomrula in the x-axis ticks setting in to the line chart object.

Every attempt I have made has failed.

my goal would be to define, on a time axis, the number of ticks based on the number of dates selected. This would help me make the graph more readable.
