Vizlib Pie Chart Properties - Interactivity and Alternate States

Interactivity


Interactivity enables the users to interact with the data in the chart as well as navigate throughout the Pie chart for a better view of the visualization.




Allow Selections / Read Only

Toggles between Selections and Read only mode. When read only is enabled no selections can be made on the chart. 


Quick select

When enabled, applies selection for the selected value without prompting the multi-select dialog. 


Legend select

Selections are possible through the legend tiles. If disabled, when click on a legend tile it will filter the data without applying any selection. 


Tool Tips

Enable/Disable tool tips on the pie chart.  


Smart labels

When smart labels is enabled, labels (data points, radial labels) won't be placed on items which are <2.5% of the total value in order to avoid overlapped elements. 


Rotate on mouse wheel

Experimental feature. Rotate chart on scroll down or through the mouse wheel. 


Highlighting on hover

Highlight pie slices on hover over pie chart elements or legend tiles. 

Opacity

Highlight opacity slider.


Animations

Enable/Disable animation transitions on the pie chart. 


Full screen

Show/Hide Qlik Sense native 'Full screen' icon on hover the visualization. 


Snapshot

Show/Hide Qlik Sense native 'Take snapshot' icon on hover the visualization. Note: This feature has been part of the Hover Menu since the Qlik Sense September 2020 release, and is no longer controlled using the property panel.

Alternate States 

 

You can use Alternate States to perform comparative analysis between sets of multiple data items. 

If you want to add the object to master visualizations, you need to set State to Inherited. You can find more information about working with alternate states here
