Vizlib KPI Designer Properties - Gauge Chart Layer

A Gauge Chart layer is similar to a pie chart, but with a needle or dial to indicate where your data point(s) falls over a particular range. A useful visualization tool, gauge charts can be used in the Vizlib KPI alongside line and bar charts. They are highly customizable, and you can specify how you want your radial scale, needle indicator(s), pivot point, and gauge ring to appear.

Gauge Range

You can set the min and max possible values. 
The clockwise switch can be used to locate the numbers on the gauge the way as needed. 
Gauge Limits

You can set a certain value to add a limit on your gauge chart layer.  Limit bar can be any color you want.
Needle Settings

The Gauge Chart layer can have one or multiple needles indicating numbers or metrics on the radial area.

Displays the name and the value of the defined needle above the radial area:

Reference Types

You have three different ways to style your needle:

needle              target               line

Gauge Chart ticks

Gauge Chart ticks show the segmentation on the gauge layer. You can choose one of three possible options to locate the scale numbers.

You can also style your ticks by choosing special color, font and size.


Formatting settings

There are several formatting and designer settings that can be applied to the Gauge Chart layer.

You can set the 
value, color, opacity and size of the needle.

This is where the value of the needle is defined which drives its position. It supports Qlik Expressions and variables.

Defines the size, or width, of the needle in pixels [px].

Allows you to color the needle with a HEX color of your choice.

Defines the opacity of the needle (0%-100%)
