NPrinting is a reporting add-on product for Qlik Sense which can be used with on-premise (offline) versions of Vizlib products, including Vizlib Finance Report. NPrinting Best Practice
To help you with setting up your NPrinting function within Vizlib Finance Report, we've included a list of guidelines and settings to follow, as well as any limitations there might be
- The preferred output formats are Excel(Image) or HTML(Image).
- To reduce cropping, place the Vizlib Finance Report object on a sheet set to 100% of its size.
- Extending the sheet will have no effect on the exported image size.
- Currently, formatted Excel exports for Vizlib Finance Report are not supported in NPrinting.

You can find out more about the NPrinting output formats for Vizlib Finance Report in Table 1.

HTML Report - Image | Maximum resolution 1920X1080. If the Finance Report object is larger than 1920X1080, NPrinting will crop the image. Setting height and width on the img element will no effect. |
Excel Report - Image | Maximum resolution 1920X1080. If the Finance Report object is larger than 1920X1080, NPrinting will crop the image. Using the Stretch property from Excel can remove cropping of the image, but may produce a pixellated result. For the best result, use Max Height and Max Width properties to a larger area than 1920X1080 and customize using Stretch to Fit. |
Pixel Perfect Report | Not currently supported with Vizlib Finance Report. |
Excel Report - Table | Requires NPrinting 2018 June or higher. Exporting as Table uses the built in exportData function in Qlik Sense, and exports the HyperCube to Excel. This produces the same result as exporting a native Qlik Sense Pivot Table, but not the same result as Custom Formatted Excel export in Vizlib Finance Report. |
Other Reports - Image | Maximum resolution 1920X1080. If the Vizlib Finance Report object is larger than 1920X1080, NPrinting will crop the image. |
