Vizlib Teamwork - Introduction


Vizlib Teamwork improves the process of communication around your data. It gives you an ability to share insights, discuss and argue around the data avoiding disconnections. Just like any other chatting technology. See what happens to your decision-making process when you empower your team to handle data confidently and converse, collaborate and share knowledge directly in Qlik Sense. Features for Vizlib Teamwork include 

  • Sheet / Master Item Level Commentary - Comment on a sheet or focus your comments to individual charts to shorten the communication cycle. 
  • Bookmarks or Selections - Create and share bookmarks with the same selections to provide more context and avoid miscommunication.
  • Rich Commentary Editor - Use emojis or giphy icons to add some expression and fun around your discussion.
  • Inline Images - share an image from the sheet to give an instant focus to your comments. 
  • Categories - Tie your comments to a category to improve the order of comments on your master items and visualisations. 
  • Workflow - Add, manage and configure Workflows, choosing when to make workflow comments editable and visible to Vizlib Teamwork users.
  • Threading - Organize discussions, ask questions, add context or give feedback on a specific message. without disrupting the flow of other conversations.
  • Private Notes - Add a comment which isn't visible to other users, and attach the private note to a bookmark to revisit them at a later point.
  • Notifications - Notify another user directly from your Qlik Sense app via e-mail, Slack, or Teams. Send a user a copy of the underlying data and screenshots of chart, they can then click on the comment to go back directly to the planned integration. Note: Microsoft Teams does not currently support sharing images or data attachments within Vizlib Teamwork.

You can find the latest version of Vizlib Teamwork on our User Portal in the Collaboration section of the Downloads page. The software includes an installation file and a demo app showing you how Vizlib Teamwork works. You can also review our Architecture Model to see which solution will be best for you. 

Note on Teamwork Enterprise: Any articles related to functions available in the Enterprise version of the product have Enterprise Only as part of the title. 

 

Guides


Guides are articles which contain technical information relating to Vizlib Teamwork

Vizlib products all have the same installation process, so you can find instructions on installing Vizlib Teamwork here, and there is a video tutorial for installing Vizlib extensions on our YouTube channel here. You can read the tutorial on creating forms here.
