Vizlib Gantt Properties - Interactivity

Interactivity


Interactivity settings provide you with a set of options to control how users interact with Vizlib Gantt


Selections (Figure 1) allow you to enable a range of options - Allow multiselections, Allow event selection, Allow group selections and Allow selection of dates on axis. For group selections, you can choose between selection by group or by event. You can also choose to enable a zoom option on the Context Menu

In the Groups Panel settings (Figure 2) you can choose to Allow collapse (see Navigation and Groups Panel), and select options for Icons and Tooltip, enabling the Full-Screen Icon, Snapshot Icon, choose to Fit entire gantt in export and Enable Tooltips

Note: The snapshot icon has been part of the Hover Menu since the Qlik Sense September 2020 release, and is no longer controlled using the property panel.

Export


You can find the export settings for Vizlib Gantt in the context menu under Download as... There are options to export as an Image, a PDF, Full Gantt to PDF (where the entire chart is exported to a single sheet, and can be used to fit larger charts onto one sheet), an Excel file, a CSV file and a TSV file. Figure 3 shows a Gantt chart downloaded with the Full Gantt to PDF option.

When the chart is in Analysis mode (Figure 4), there are controls available for collapsing the groups panel on the left by using the arrow, and using the navigation controls in the bottom right corner of the chart.
