The Appearance settings give you the ability to control and update the styling of your Vizlib Gantt visualisation.

The Groups Layout settings (Figure 3) allow you to display headers with Show Headers in Parent Groups, display order numbers in the event bars with Show Order Number, and enable a display to Expand all.

Event Bar Styling
Event Bar Styling setting control the appearance of the event bars (Figure 8). You can enable Bar labels, display them inside or outside the event bar, set the Font Size, the Event Bars Label Color, and a Character Limit. You can display a tag by selecting Show event tag on bar, set the Font Size, the Event tag color, Event tag position, display progress with Show Progress value in event and

You can also use the Color by setting to apply a color scheme by Individual Event (using a color style palette), Expression (using an expression editor) or Event Groups (setting the Opacity of the event bars using the slider). Figure 9 shows a Color by Expression, where you can also Reverse colors or select Persistent colors.

You can also choose to show Event Pins, setting the level of Pin Opacity, and use the Bars settings to Show events side by side, set the Event Bar Radius and choose to Enable Bar Shadow (Figure 10).

Figure 11 shows an example of coloring by Individual Event.

Milestone Styling contains settings to apply a color scheme to any milestones in the chart (Figure 12). You can choose to Color by Individual Milestone (choosing a color scheme), Expression (entering an expression or choosing a color) or by Milestone Parent (color depends on the event the milestone is linked to.
