The power of Vizlib Templates for Qlik Sense
Data visualisation templates are a vehicle for delivering more than mere visual consistency. Vizlib Templates empower all data users to create beautiful, pre-designed charts quickly.
Though many execs and data analysts love the high customisability of Vizlib’s products, they may not always have the time or skill to create pixel-perfect visualisations. Our brand-new Vizlib Templates offering can turn that around.
Vizlib Templates aim to empower companies to generate a consistent, standardised look for their data visualisations, one that aligns with their overall design and branding system. By allowing users to create and share pre-configured templates with the entire organisation, we’re striving to solve four main pain points:
Help organisations speed up their development process
Allow anyone, of any skill level, to create eye-catching dataviz in seconds
Help companies maintain their visual standards without any brand policing
Enable organisations to enforce visual governance and establish consistency across their Qlik Sense apps
Vizlib Templates can help you define a default design standard that follows your app, company or design brand guidelines. The feature makes it easy to apply a unified design across your business. You can also create template defaults to limit unnecessary creativity and jump-start the dataviz creation process.
Vizlib Templates must first be created (with internet access) before appearing in Vizlib Products. Reach out to Vizlib Support for more information on using templates in fully offline environments dev
Vizlib Templates come in three different categories:
- Public: Vizlib-designed templates available to all Vizlib users.
- Published: Templates published within your organisation’s shared space and only accessible to your team.
- My templates: Your own personal, unpublished templates that only you and your organisation’s Vizlib admin can access.

My Qlik Sense Enterprise Server has no connection the internet, how can I use templates?
For cases like this, templates should be created using the online version of our extensions (this can be done in Qlik Sense Desktop or on a development server which has internet access).
The option below needs to be chedked in the profile section in the Vizlib User Portal. This will download the templates as part of the offline extension download.
