This article contains all the information you need about Vizlib Pricing and Subscriptions. 

Note: Our Freemium pricing model is now called Free Plan

Where can I find information on pricing for Vizlib Packages?


Pricing information (including all the user packages) is available for you to view in the Vizlib user portal - you need to login or click the link in your download email. 

Note: Advertised subscriptions prices for Vizlib Licenses (<100 users) are only available via credit card payments.

Are Vizlib Products free to evaluate?


Yes! All Vizlib products are available to trial for up to five users.  Get started by clicking Try Vizlib on our home page (Figure 1).

Do you offer a free trial for Vizlib Enterprise?


Vizlib is free to try for up to five users, but if you are planning to subscribe to Vizlib Enterprise,  we can happily activate a three week organised trial period*, where you can use Vizlib with 

  • More users (up to 100)
  • Offline mode
  • No Watermark

During that period of that we will also monitor and focus support queries.

Please contact support@vizlib.com if you're interested in trialling Vizlib for your organisation.

*Subject to availability - there is a limit on the number of enterprise trials we offer in a given month.

What does Free Plan mean?


Free Plan (formerly Freemium) is a pricing model in which a product or service is provided free of charge, but money is charged for additional features, services, or virtual goods. Free Plan is a combination of free and premium.

Why is there a Vizlib Watermark and how do I get it removed? 


If you sign up to Vizlib as a Free Plan user (non-subscribed) we apply a transparent watermark across all our extensions (Figure 1), to indicate that you currently have a free trial version of Vizlib. 


The Free Plan license is intended for you to explore Vizlib functionality and features at your own pace, but it is available for evaluation purposes only. Free Plan accounts are restricted to five users, unsupported and should not be used in a production environment. The watermark is removed when you purchase a subscription.

You can easily remove the watermark by selecting one of the following three options:


Important: Once you've purchased a subscription, you'll receive an instruction in your confirmation message to clear the cache in your web browser. 


In Qlik, please now refresh your browser page and cache to ensure watermarks are successfully removed. 


The watermark should disappear completely once the refresh completes.

I only need two charts from the Vizlib Library - can I get a discount?


Vizlib Library is offered as a packaged solution to offer developers and self-service business users with a "swiss-army" experience, where most, if not all, requirements in Qlik Sense can be met using one or many extensions from the Vizlib Library

While we understand that sometimes requirements can be very specific, we are also firm believers that they can also change as quickly. We live in a fast-paced development world where responding to user requirements swiftly is key. Having all Vizlib extensions readily available at your side provides you with the most flexibility, embraces agile software development practices, and empowers self-service users to explore Qlik Sense using Vizlib in a way they did not imagine they could do so before.

In our experience, customers typically begin using Vizlib with business cases for three to four charts, but within six months, they typically end up using 80% of our Vizlib Library offering.

We would like to pre-pay an annual subscription of Vizlib Library, is this possible?


If you click on Management and select Subscriptions from the dropdown menu, you can choose between between monthly or yearly payments (Figure 3). 

Important: Pricing information will be displayed as a monthly fee to give you an accurate comparison on the annual discount.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time? 


Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time via the Vizlib user portal (Figure 4).

  • Select the Billing and Payments option from your account settings to display your subscription details. 
  • Click Cancel, and your Vizlib subscription will expire at the end of the month .

I can't pay via Credit Card - can we pay Vizlib via invoicing? 


Payment via invoicing is perfectly fine and accepted for Vizlib Enterprise customers (100+ users). To reduce the admin overhead, payment via invoice can only be accepted for a pre-payment of at least six months in advance.

We accept international bank transfers in USD $ currency only.

Do you have a partner programme?

We run the Vizlib Partner Programme (VPP) for our global partner network. To join the VPP you need to be a Qlik certified partner.
