If you're using Vizlib products, you will find you need to clear your web browser history and/or cache from time to time. If you're moving from a Free Plan version of the product to a Subscription plan, or if you install a new version of your current product(s), clearing your cache ensures you are using them correctly. We've included instructions in this article for a range of web browsers.

Google Chrome
If you're using Google Chrome (Figure 1), please follow these instructions.
- Click on the
menu in the far right of the browser toolbar, and select Settings.
- When the settings screen opens, scroll down to Privacy and Security.
- Click Clear Browsing Data to open the dialog.
- Select the data you want to clear from the check boxes, then click Clear Data.

Microsoft Edge
If you're using Microsoft Edge (Figure 2), please follow these instructions.
- Click on the
menu in the far right of the browser toolbar.
- Scroll down to History, then select Clear Browsing Data to open the dialog.
- Select the data you want to clear, then click Clear Now.

Internet Explorer
Note: Vizlib does not support Internet Explorer
Vizlib decided to end support for Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) from August 1 2021, following the Qlik Sense announcement that IE11 support would not continue after their May 2021 release.
You can continue to use IE11 with earlier versions of most Vizlib extensions (see note), but it will not be supported for any new features or bug fixes.
Please note: Vizlib Toolbar, Vizlib Tiles, Vizlib Waterfall and Vizlib Ridgeline Plot are not IE11 compatible.

Mozilla Firefox
If you're using Mozilla Firefox (Figure 4), please follow these instructions.
- Click on the
Menu in the far right of the browser toolbar.
- Select Options, which should open the settings page.
- Select Privacy and Security and scroll to the Cookies and Site Data section.
- Click on Clear Data.
- Select the data you want to clear, then click Clear and Clear Now.

Safari
If you're using Safari (Figure 5), please follow these instructions.
- Click on the History menu in the toolbar at the top of the window.
- Click Clear History.
- Click on the
Menu in the far right of the browser toolbar.
- Select Preferences, which should open the settings dialog.
- Select the Privacy tab.
- Select the data you want to clear, then click Remove all Website Data.
- Click Remove Now when the dialog opens.
