Vizlib Custom Report Properties - Data

The Data section of the property panel helps you to create and manage settings for the dimensions and measures used in the data set for your Vizlib Custom Report

Figure 1 shows a dimension used in Vizlib Custom Report. Measures can be linked to a master item, and you can opt to Include null values. The Limitation dropdown controls the number of values in the custom report.

  • No limitation - every object is displayed.
  • Fixed number - display a fixed number.
  • Exact value - display an exact value.
  • Relative value - display a percentage of values.

You can also enable the option Block from Trellis, to hide the dimension when the custom report is switched to Trellis Mode.

Figure 2 shows a measure used in Vizlib Custom Report. Like dimensions, they can also be linked to a master item. You can choose a Number formatting option (from Auto, Number, Money, Date, Duration, Custom and Expression), and display the values using a Simple or Custom Formatting type. The Totals Function allows you to select a display option for totals and is enabled by default (you can choose from Auto, Sum, Max, Min, Avg, Count and None). For more information about controlling the custom report totals display please see our article here.
