Better documentation for Custom HTML Tooltip?
Hello,
Is there any place that has better documentation for the Custom HTML Tooltip? Something that actually says how to use it? Something that isn't one of the release documentation like https://community.vizlib.com/support/discussions/topics/35000015430.
This video also did not help https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWg81qAEJaY&t=181s.
I am trying to use it in a heatmap, and so far am only able to bold the expression I am seeking to use. It's all static text, nothing is dynamic which I know isn't the case.
I have this question also. In particular, how to use if user doesn't know HTML.
HTML Tooltips are meant to provide flexibility to display whatever may be needed - images, text, Qlik expressions, etc. Often, I'll reference our example apps (which you can download through the Vizlib Portal for each visualizations/UI component or from our Demo Gallery: https://home.vizlib.com/apps/ )
Additionally, there are lots of good HTML tutorials out there, and most anything can be used in the Tooltips to provide more details.
