Vizlib Input Form Properties - Templates


When you work with Vizlib Input Form, you can start creating your form by choosing a template to work with. Each template contains pre-defined data values which are loaded into the form. Once the template is applied, you can continue to make changes to the pre-loaded fields or add new fields in the Layout Wizard. 

Applying a Template

  • Open the input form for editing and press the View Templates button (Figure 1). to open the templates dialog.

The template dialog (Figure 2) will hold any pre-loaded templates in one of the 3 tabs.

  • Click through the tabs to find the template you want, and click on the template icon. The dialog will close and the template will be loaded in the input form (Figure 3).

You can now start working with the data loaded into the template. For more instructions on working with data, please see the article on the Layout Wizard. 

Saving a Template

If you like to be able to re-use a template you've been working with, click on the Save button in the right hand panel of the input form (Figure 3) to open the Save Template dialog (Figure 4).

  • Enter the template title, and upload attach an image to use as an identifier. Click Save.

If you save a template, you will be able to find it in the My Templates tab in the template dialog (Figure 5).
